The music press, even those lobotomized by a diet of major label McRap, McSoul and McRock are having to actually think about Matt's record and deal with an Artist not afraid to build sonic novels and narratives with lyrics and guitars, someone who approaches his records like David Lynch approaches his movies.

Winter Women / Holy Ghost Language School, the solo record from Matthew Friedberger is released on August 8th and should be in your local store for no more than $18.98.
